In the build up to RTÉ's coverge of Liverpool versus Porto tonight, Richie Sadlier, Eamon Dunphy & Liam Brady were running the rule over the other big Champions League game between PSG and Real Madrid.
The panel got talking about record signing Neymar and both Sadlier and Dunphy had strong words for the Brazilian. Sadlier went onto explain a recent article about Neymar that hints at the forward's lack of professionalism:
There was a report today Diego Torres a well known Spanish journalist did a big feature on his [Neymar's] lifestyle apparently he's a load of his mates he pays to live with him. He has two day parties in his house, half the town is always invited, he shows up to training when he wants. It sounds great craic but it's not what you want from a player.
It's not conducive to being a footballer. Long term anyway, you're not going to play to a high level.
Eamon Dunphy agreed with Sadlier claiming that some of the PSG players were messing around in the French League':
'Neymar's lifestyle is not condusive to performing at this level,' says Eamon Dunphy ahead of Real Madrid v PSG #rtesoccer#ucl#championsleagepic.twitter.com/88sdRR2mUM

The panel seem like a couple of town gossips when speaking about Neymar's lifestyle. and whether the stories about Neymar's lifestyle are true or not the Brazilian was fairly ineffectual against a clinical Madrid side tonight, as PSG lost 3-1.
Instead it was Ronaldo that grabbed the headlines, scoring twice as Madrid came from behind to take a healthy lead to Paris. The first was a bizarre penalty where the turf popped up just as the Portugese was striking the ball. The second was slightly fortuitous, the ball bouncing off the forwards thigh, though you can't argue with the man's knack for being in the right place at the right time.
The third came at the end of a wonderful team move, with Marcelo's shot from inside the box taking a deflection on it's route past Alphonse Areola into the net.
