Brendan Rodgers put faith in 18-year-old right-back Anthony Ralston to mark Neymar as PSG came to Glasgow on Tuesday, and although the Brazilian scored en route to a 5-0 win, the young defender was one of Celtic's better performers on the night.
PSG took the lead through Neymar when he timed his run in behind Ralston perfectly, although to criticise the Celtic man would be to do as a disservice to the pass from Adrien Rabiot.
Neymar pulled out the flicks and tricks as he attempted to show why the French giants spent such an obnoxious amount of money on him, but instead those watching at home were left thinking that he was a bit of a bellend for his antics at the final whistle.
The TV cameras perfectly captured Neymar not only rejecting Ralston's handshake, but seemingly taking the piss out of him as the Celtic defender was not one bit happy.
Seriously poor form.
Whatever about Neymar not being happy with how Ralston defended him - by the way, he'll be in for a long bloody season in Ligue 1 if he was upset tonight - to reject someone trying to shake your hand like that is a dick move.
It will be interesting to see if Ralston is asked to mark him in the return leg, and how he approaches that task with this incident in mind.
