Brendan Rodgers is the first Liverpool manager in over 60 years not to win a trophy in his first three seasons at the club. That's quite a notable stat and it's one that has led quite a few fans to question whether the Northern Irishman should be in charge come the start of next season.
With the impending figure of Jurgen Klopp on a lot of fans' minds, Rodgers position is looking a lot shakier than it was before last weekend's loss to Aston Villa. However, when asked about his position ahead of Saturday's trip to West Brom, Rodgers was in an extremely confident mood.
Rodgers: "I don't think there's anyone better (to manage Liverpool). 3 months ago I was a tactical genius so I never get too carried away."

We're not saying he has no reason to be confident about keeping his job but for fans who are painfully aware that they are now no closer to winning the league than they were when Rodgers took over, that is certainly a bullish statement.
