It was good to see Inverness Caledonian Thistle embracing the funny side of a 6-0 defeat at Parkhead on Saturday. Celtic might have eased up if it wasn't for a grudge that isn't going anywhere soon.
Speaking of playground rules, Friday saw the release of Nike's new football-themed 'Winner Stays' commercial and it's safe to say that the countdown to 12th June is truly on.
Nike has a history of producing stunning pre-tournament showcases, from its brilliant Samba-tinged slice of airport football to the intense, cross-platform 'Write The Future' campaign in 2010.
The new one's just as superb. It captures the precious atmosphere of kids playing football on summer days against the backdrop of a World Cup, all with the aid of Nike's slick leading names. Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Wayne Rooney and Eden Hazard all pop up representing their nations in those new shirts you can't afford. Andrés Iniesta and Gerard Piqué weigh in as well, though, since Spain aren't flash enough to attract Nike as a kit manufacturer, the Barça jerseys kill the mood ever so slightly.
Even Kobe Bryant appears, taking a break from appearing in ads with Adidas's Leo Messi.
Of course, Zlatan Ibrahimovic isn't going to the World Cup. But does Zlatan care?
Viewers should beware, however, that the American sports giant raises the horrifying prospect of having more than one David Luiz in the centre of defence. Close your eyes.
The ball's in the Adidas court now.
