Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane could be in place as the new Republic of Ireland management team as soon as Monday. Newstalk's Off The Ball program reported today that there is a determination from both sides to have the deal in place before O'Neill and Keane are due to work as pundits during ITV's coverage of Real Sociedad against Manchester United in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Newstalk sources saying the deal is almost done, FAI will speak with MON & RK this wkend. Official confirmation should arrive on Monday.
