The terrace chant is where the majority of the football supporters' creativity is demonstrated.

They can be witty, self-deprecating and wicked, with Newcastle United's fans new ditty falling into the latter.

The Magpies took on the Mackems in an U21 clash in the Checkatrade Trophy, with Sunderland progressing 4-0 following an own goal by Kelland Watts, a header from Charlie Wyke, a brilliant third from Chris Maguire and a scrappy fourth from Benjamin Kimpioka.

But despite the result the 2,800 travelling fans were in great voice and took the day out to have a cheeky pop at Mackems fans and their involvement in Netflix's 'Sunderland 'Til I Die' documentary series.


Cruel, but brilliant.
