We're not sure about the design itself, but what we will say is that Wolves' new kit is certainly out of this world. While most clubs will be spending the coming months concentrating on player rotations the East Midlands club have gone for a more orbital rotation instead.
The past few years have seen marketing teams develop wackier ways of promoting the release of their kits, this week Southampton released a whole cartoon video series to the horror/delight of many fans and last year Juventus players dressed up as clowns before removing their costumes showing off their new stripes, but Wolves have really taken the art to another dimension.
The team decided the best way to draw attention to their new kit was to strap it to a balloon and send it off into space, and it certainly got attention but maybe not in the way they wanted it to.
Wolves kit okay at best, not my personal preference but as long as they win in it (sponsor aside).
Would love a Roma-type kit without one.— George Rinaldi (@GeorgeRinaldi) June 16, 2017
I hope it doesn't come back from space. Awful kit

Some might argue that this isn't a marketing campaign at all and a mere test to see how the shirt will cope in an environment with no atmosphere before it gets a run out in Molineux.
Jokes aside the team deserve a lot of credit for coming up with an idea that doesn't look to have broken any budget - so for any aspiring marketing interns looking to promote their products, just take the new piece of merch, strapped it to a balloon and a GoPro, and sent it off on its merry way and you'll get people talking.
