Ryan Manning describes the last few weeks of his football career as a 'whirlwind'.
Prior to Ian Holloway's arrival at QPR in November, his prospects at the club were not looking good. Seven weeks later, he had made his debut for the club and now looks to have established himself as a first team regular.
10 weeks on from Holloway's appointment and Manning has been given a new contract by the club. He penned a new two-and-a-half year deal at Loftus Road on Friday.

The 20-year-old from Galway told QPR's club website of his elation.
I'm delighted to sign the contract. It's been an unbelievable couple of weeks for me. When I went back home for Christmas for a couple of days I had no idea this would happen.
It's been a whirlwind to be honest, but I've enjoyed every minute and now the contract is sorted, I'm really hoping I can kick on.
Now the contract is signed, it's time to focus fully on playing and getting results for QPR. I'm sure I'll gain a little more confidence from signing the new deal, knowing I'm moving in the right direction.
I know this is just the start though. I'm not the kind of person who will rest on their laurels or get too carried away. This is all about progress for me now – and hopefully that coincides with QPR progressing at the same time.
Delighted to sign a new contract with @QPRFC after a crazy few weeks. Big thanks to everyone for all the messages 👍🏼
