Call us old fogeys and traditionalists but we'll take a nice crisp white Mitre ball any day. Since Nike started producing the balls for the Premier League they've been okay, even some of the more flamboyant ones have been perfectly decent looking.
But you always thought they were holding back on the flamboyance. If they had their way we'd be watching the best the world has to offer playing with something that looks like the bastard lovechild of a cheap balloon and a gobstopper that you'd get at a fairground.
Presenting the Ordem 3.
The new ball for the 2015/16 #BPL season, the @Nike Ordem 3 will debut at #BAT2015. More: http://t.co/ILxwYm2Ali pic.twitter.com/nJ91Dh3noE

Yes, that's really what we'll be seeing in the Premier League next season. It's the 'most advanced football ever' and it delivers 'accurate flight, consistent touch and maximum visibility'.
Granted, it doesn't really matter what it looks like but the word putrid comes to mind.
We'd have to agree with that well formed opinion.
