The well documented bet between MNF analysts Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher has just got a little bit more interesting.
After Tottenham Hotspur accepted a bid for their Brazilian midfielder Paulinho from Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande, Neville informed the world of Carragher's upcoming forfeit after losing a bet.
The original bet was for Carragher to wear a Manchester United shirt with G. Neville 2 on the back for an entire day after incorrectly guessing how many goals Paulinho would score for Spurs. Unsurprisingly, the ardent Liverpool fan was having none of it.
Now though, Neville is back with an alternative offer.
Morning @Carra23 . Here is a potential deal-
Post a pic in the shirt/ sign it and auction on here for Alder Hey!Deal? pic.twitter.com/Yy73nOLQDH— Gary Neville (@GNev2) July 1, 2015
By bringing Alder Hey children's charity into things, Neville has really backed Carragher into a corner.
Sounds good to us!! You can do it @Carra23! https://t.co/yNKhvxxnVn

There's surely no getting out of it now.
Update: There was no getting out of it. Carragher has conceded that he'll have to don the shirt for the sake of the hospital that is very close to his heart after he spent the first six weeks of his life there battling with a condition known as gastroschisis.
It's a deal! https://t.co/EAiwNJCpep
