Neil Lennon has crafted an interesting managerial career since taking his first job in 2010.
He would win three league titles during his first stint at Celtic, going on to have spells at Bolton Wanderers and Hibernian. When Celtic asked him to return midway through the 2018/19 season, he would win the league title that season and follow it up with a domestic treble in the following campaign.
In saying that, his second spell at Parkhead ended on a sour note as he was sacked in February of 2021 with Celtic 18 points behind Rangers in the title race.
Since then, he has taken a chance on the continent. Lennon's spell in Cyrpus with Omonia Nicosia went well, winning a Cypriot Cup and leading them to the Europa League group stages. However, he has been out of work since leaving the club back in October.
He has apparently now thrown his hat into the ring for a major European job.
Neil Lennon interested in role with European giants
French journalist Patrick Julliard is reporting that Neil Lennon has been offered to Marseille in their search for a new manager.
France's second most successful club are on the hunt for a new head coach after Igor Tudor left at the end of the campaign.

It is said that Lennon is very open to the role, although he is not considered the favourite at the moment. Former River Plate boss Marcelo Gallardo and Lille manager Paulo Fonsesca are thought to be the frontrunners as things stand.
Marseille remain the only French club to lift the European Cup, finishing third in Ligue 1 this season to secure Champions League football for next season. They would certainly be an attractive proposition for most coaches, even accounting for PSG's dominant stature in French football.
Lennon has been linked with a number of jobs in recent months, including at Greek club Olympiacos.
