It was an absolute classic at the Ibrox as Celtic and Rangers played out an absolute classic Old Firm Derby as they split the spoils in a 3-3 draw.

Celtic came racing out of the blocks going two - nil up thanks to a first-minute goal that left Rangers scrambling and a 34th-minute penalty courtesy of a handball. While Rangers had a few chances coming towards the break, Celtic were utterly dominant in the first half.

It was a game of two halves however for Rangers, who quickly bit back, claiming a goal of their own thanks to an extremely controversial penalty that left Neil Lennon and the commentary crew outraged, before Rangers levelled the affair with another goal in the 86th minute.

In what quickly became a nail-biting affair, Ireland's Adam Idah then fired Celtic back ahead just sixty seconds later with a cracking goal.

However, Celtics 3-2 lead only lasted a matter of minutes with Rangers claiming a 93rd-minute equaliser to keep themselves within a point of Celtic in the table.

While Neil Lennon was outnumbered two to one in the Sky Sports studio he was left in no doubt about the controversy surrounding Ranger's penalty, with the commentary crew having called Fabio Silva a 'Gold Medal Diver' when the incident occurred.

I don't know if there's enough contact he runs into him.

The way he goes down as well is embarrassing. He was embarrassing all day.

I'm not happy with Philippes comments after the game either...absolute waffle.

He doesn't kick him, he falls into him, he's going down he was falling on his backside all day.

The waffle Lennon took issue with, was in reference to Rangers boss Philippe Clement's post-match interview where he got particularly cagey when the word 'getting' was used to describe how Fabio Silva earned the penalty but was a little bit less convinced by a very similar incident that saw Ranger's second goal disallowed.

It's not getting a penalty. I think everybody's really clear that it's a penalty he's been kicked against his knee so it's not getting anything.

It's even a little bit pity that he get's a yellow card for that first.

It's hard to score a goal (Rangers disallowed goal) that is disallowed because 80 yards off the goal a foul is made, I saw it back it's not a big foul but you can give it a foul so nothing to say about that.

The result leaves Celtic a single point ahead of Rangers in the table, however, Rangers have a game in hand as they head to Dundee on Wednesday night, where a win will see them overtake Celtic.

Although it increases the pressure on both sides, Rangers still have to make a trip to Celtic Park before the end of the season where Celtic will have the advantage of the home crowd.
