Neil Lennon has called Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack's comments regarding Kristoffer Ajer "disgraceful".
Cormack, who took over as Aberdeen chairman last month, accused the Celtic defender of "feigning injury" to get Sam Cosgrove sent off during a Scottish Premiership game at the weekend.
Cosgrove was sent off in the 69th minute as Celtic beat Aberdeen 2-1 on Saturday. Aberdeen subsequently lost an appeal against the red card.
"I'm not having that at all," Celtic manager Lennon told BBC Radio Scotland regarding Cormack's comments.
"Kris is the victim in all of this. He was on the end of a heavy challenge and I'm not having someone from the Aberdeen board talking about my players like that.
"We've tried to be balanced but when you see comments like that we're not tolerating it as a club. It's very naive from Mr Cormack. It's an attack on my player and the comments are absolutely disgraceful."
