Nathan Collins has been in brilliant form this season, but this certainly wasn't his best moment.
Wolves entered today's Premier League game against Manchester City as big underdogs, with it soon becoming clear that it could be a long afternoon for them.
The game started off in the worst possible fashion for Wolves, with Jack Grealish handing City the lead inside the first minute.
Things would soon get worse from there, with Erling Haaland picking up his customary goal to double their lead 15 minutes later.

Wolves were becoming visibly frustrated on the pitch. They couldn't get the ball out from the back. with City pressing high and forcing them into mistakes.
Once Guardiola's side got on the ball, they rarely gave it up and looked likely to craft more scoring opportunities.

Their frustrations boiled over just after the half hour mark, with Ireland defender Nathan Collins producing a very poor challenge on Grealish.
With the ball bouncing and the two going for it, the Kildare native completely mistimed his intervention and caught the winger in the mid-rift. It was a clear red card.

He can have no arguments with the decision.
Speaking on BT Sport, the punditry trio of Rio Ferdinand, Joleon Lescott, and Rachel Brown-Finnis said they were confused as to what Collins was attempting here.
Ferdinand: We were speaking before, even in our time that is bordering a red card. You wouldn't have too many questions about it.
We spoke about young defenders having to perform as the two centre backs for Wolves, and it's just a rush of blood to the head. I don't know what he's quite looking to do there.
Lescott: That's the thing, I don't know what he's attempting to do. He's not attempting to clear it because that's not the technique you use, or is he trying to put it our for a throw-in?
Either way, it's an ugly tackle and definitely a red card for me. I'm confused as to what he's trying to do.
Brown-Finnis: I think he mentally commits to go for the ball, then realises what a stupid decision it was and what it is going to cost his team.
Nathan Collins will now turn his attentions to international football, with Ireland set to play two crucial UEFA Nations League games in the coming days.
After that, he will likely be facing into a three-game ban when he returns to Wolves.
