Nathan Collins scored his first goal for Burnley on Wednesday night as his side defeated Everton 3-2 in what could be a vital victory in their bid to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The 20-year-old Ireland international opened the scoring for Burnley after 12 minutes when he met Maxwel Cornet's corner with a volley at the far post.
"Thankfully tonight I was involved, and it was unbelievable, it was a great feeling to score and get us up and running," Collins, who had just returned from suspension, told the Burnley club website.

Two penalties from Richarlison gave Everton a 2-1 half-time lead but Burnley took the three points through goals from Jay Rodriguez and Cornet's 85th minute winnner.
"It was unbelievable, you can see why this stadium was rocking, it was class," said Collins about the win.
"It was a surreal moment, but early on, we had a lot of work to do. Everton showed the quality that they had, but so did we as well and we did, we always back each other.
"Max has shown his quality, everyone knows how good he is.
"We weren’t afraid of going 2-1 down, we’ll always back ourselves and we got the win.
"We can’t thank the fans enough, they are backing us and we can go and back it up, we know we can go down there and do a job.
"It’s a massive game, we have to keep going and keep fighting and the momentum helps."
