When it comes to the terraces certain liberties are taken by fans in regards to personal attacks on players. It's a case of anything goes, especially when it comes to the rivalry between Rangers and Celtic.
But away from the stands, one Celtic fan has taken things too far in his harassment of ex-Rangers player Nacho Novo.
Novo arrived at Belfast Airport yesterday evening and was greeted by an over zealous Celtic supporter who chanted 'I hope you die in your sleep Nacho Novo'. The 39-year-old initially laughed off the incident but in another video, Novo can be seen confronting the Celtic fan over his behaviour asking him "Why do you respect me like that? What have I fucking done to you? Have I done anything to you?"

The incident is all the more horrific given that Novo suffered a heart attack mere months ago in a legends tournament in Berlin.
The Spaniard later tweeted an explanation of the incident, where he claimed that Celtic fans tried to attack him:
Arrived at Belfast international airport tonight to support the local community for all sides of the divide, as soon as I walked out of the airport I was surrounded by over Celtic supporters that hurled abuse and tried to attack myself I would like thank genuine Celtic supporter
