Things for Jose Mourinho at Manchester United have entered an even weirder twilight zone, as the UK Independent report that he has fallen out with MUTV, the club's in-house TV channel.

When things have been at their most tumultuous this season, MUTV have provided an oasis of relative calm for Mourinho with somewhat softer questioning than he has faced from the rest of the media.

Now, however, Big Brother is attacking the Party.

Per the Independent, Mourinho has refused to give a full injury update to the in-house channel ahead of tomorrow's Premier League clash with Arsenal. United are facing a defensive crisis ahead of that game - Ashley Young is banned, while Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling all missed Saturday's game with Southampton.

Oh, and Luke Shaw, Phil Jones, and Romelu Lukaku picked up injuries in that game.

"I don’t want to update you", Mourinho told MUTV.  "I would like Arsenal TV to make the same questions but they don’t, they hide everything from the inside, so why should I answer to you".

This dispute comes days after a report of a dressing room hectoring of Paul Pogba, in which he allegedly branded the midfielder a "virus". Long since out of friends, Mourinho is now quickly running out of enemies.

Given the depletion of United's already-rickety defence and the fairly awesome forward power at Arsenal's disposal, if MUTV  want to get back in his good books perhaps they can do Mourinho a favour and refuse to show any footage of tomorrow night's game.

It could get ugly.
