Chelsea's 3-0 loss at the Hawthorns on Monday night was not a big surprise for Jose Mourinho, so he told Sky Sports after the game. Saido Berahino gave West Brom the lead after 9 minutes. 20 minutes later Chelsea were down to 10 men after Cesc Fabregas was sent off for using Chris Brunt's head for target practise. There was no coming back for the Champions after that.

The Chelsea manager blamed a deficit of motivation and intensity which is a by product of winning the league with games in hand. The Premier League "salt and pepper" shakers are empty for Jose right now.

He actually shouldered a little bit of the blame himself for Chelsea not being ready to compete against West Brom. The remainder however, he shirked, and put it on his league rivals for allowing his side take their foot off the gas.

If we have to blame somebody, we have to blame Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal and Liverpool because they let us win the title so early.

He definitely had that one preloaded and ready to launch no matter the result of the game.
