Marouane Fellaini became the eighth player in the Premier League era to be sent-off in a Manchester derby on Thursday night.

In the 84th minute of last night's game, nuzzled up to Sergio Aguero after the two had become entangled for the second time in just moments.

The Argentinian hit the deck, Fellaini threw his arms to the air, referee Martin Atkinson produced a red card for the Belgian.

After the match, Jose Mourinho cut an unimpressed figure while speaking about Aguero's reaction to Fellaini nudging him with his forehead.

Marouane says it was a red card because he is Marouane, Martin Atkinson told me in his opinion it was a red card but I saw Aguero in the tunnel - no broken nose, no broken head, his face is as nice as always.

So, I am not so sure. I think if Sergio doesn't go to the floor, for sure it is not a red card.

I didn't watch but probably I can guess it's a bit of a red card and that it's a bit of a very experienced, smart Argentinian player.
