Robin Van Persie is due in Turkey today to discuss a move to Fenerbache. That's according to the club themselves, who've made the announcement on their website. The club seem confident that Van Persie is on his way.
Previously we reported that we had begun transfer negotiations with Manchester United and the Dutch player Robin van Persie. On the evening of Sunday July 12, he is coming to Istanbul.
Van Gaal is unwilling to confirm that Van Persie is on his way out of Old Trafford. His comments do not amount to an emphatic denial, however.
When you say that it is not all true. When we feel we can say he is gone you shall hear it from Manchester United. We don't have the feeling yet.
Van Persie looks certain to join Nani in Turkey. He scored 48 goals for Manchester United in three years, thirty of which were scored in his first season there.
