Nottingham Forest have signed Argentina's 2022 World Cup winner Gonzalo Montiel on a season-long loan from Sevilla.
The right-back is most famous for scoring the final penalty in a 4-2 shootout victory over France after what was considered to be the greatest World Cup Final of all-time.
Just moments earlier, it looked like Montiel could be the villain on that night in Qatar, after he conceded a late penalty in extra-time, which Kylian Mbappe converted to take the final to a shootout.
Five months after the World Cup Final, Montiel repeated the trick, by scoring the decisive penalty in a shootout victory for Sevilla over Roma at the Europa League Final in Budapest.

Montiel has big ambitions for this Forest
The 26-year-old will be plying his trade at the City Ground this season, where his ambitions go further than helping the club avoid Premier League relegation.
"I'm coming here full of expectations, of getting to play and showing what I can do," Montiel told the Forest website.
"I'm also hungry to win things, to win trophies - now's the time to show this. I've been watching the Premier League since I was a child. As a player you want to play in the best league, and the Premier League is just that."

Montiel's World Cup journey
While Montiel wasn't a regular starter for Argentina in Qatar, his cameos helped Lionel Messi and co see out a number of high-intensity games en route to the country's third World Cup success.
He started a 2-0 group stage victory over Mexico before playing the final 10 minutes of a 2-1 round-of-16 victory over Australia.
Montiel then came on for the final 15 minutes of extra-time in the infamous Battle of Lusail game against the Netherlands, another game in which he converted a penalty in a shootout victory.
He then played the entirety of extra-time in the final against France before finishing it off with his crowning moment to spark celebrations all across Argentina.
Montiel's Premier League debut could come at Old Trafford this Saturday, when Forest visit Manchester United in the Premier League.
