Daniel Levy is giving Gareth Bale the 'silent treatment' according to Daily Mirror. Levy is refusing "point blank" to discuss the matter any further, and will not sell Bale this summer regardless of an increased offer. This is confusing as the Daily Mail are reporting that the Spurs chairman has cut short a family holiday for further talks with the winger.
In other Spurs news, it looks as if the deal to sign Valencia Striker Roberto Soldado will be sealed this week. Valencia will let the Spain striker go for his buy out clause of £26 million. They have shown the stubbornness and patience that Levy will appreciate. The Daily express quoted Valencia Manager Miroslav Djukic "Roberto is a very good professional and if he decides to leave we will wish him a lot of luck, If his exit to Tottenham is confirmed then we will wish him all the luck in the world, If his exit to Tottenham is confirmed then we will wish him all the luck in the world."
It will come as no surprise that former Chelsea team mates Jose Bosingwa and Florent Malouda are leaving the Premier League. They have arrived in Turkey ahead of finalising their move to Trabzonspor. Malouda didn't play at all last season and Bosingwa had commitment issues with QPR, the issue being he had none.
