It may have been a tumultuous World Cup campaign for Egypt and Mohamed Salah, but at least the Liverpool forward has managed to give the world a glimpse of his talents with a clever lob in the 22nd minute against Saudi Arabia in his team's final group game of the tournament.
A long ball from Abdallah El Said released the 26-year-old, who took a touch before lifting the ball over the onrushing Yaser Al-Mosailem, whilst under considerable pressure from the Saudi Arabia defence.

This takes Salah's World Cup tally to two goals, the forward also scored in his side's 3-1 defeat to Russia in round two of the group stages.
There had been rumours that Egypt's talisman was set to quit his country, perhaps due to the player being used as PR for Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov, the controversial politician was pictured many times with Salah and also gave the former Roma winger honorary citizenship of Chechnya.
