Mo Salah was back among the goals on Sunday, as speculation continues to swirl around his future.
The Egyptian scored the third goal in a routine 3-0 win over Aston Villa on a sunny September afternoon at Anfield, indicating that the situation hasn't distracted him from his job.
Liverpool reportedly turned down a £150 million offer from Al-Ittihad for their prized asset on Friday, but with he Saudi transfer window still not closed, Salah's future remains up in the air.
According to his teammate Dominik Szoboszlai though, Salah is happy to remain at Anfield, something which is sure to bring joy to Reds supporters.
"We're really happy that he stayed," said Szoboszlai after the game. "Of course, we're speaking with each other but he wants to stay, he wants to be here with us. He stayed and we are really happy. A great player, a great person. We need some guys in the team like him."
Liverpool win amid talk around future of Mo Salah
If Liverpool fans are happy with Szoboszlai's comments, they'll be even more pleased with the Hungarian's performance against Villa, as he notched his first goal since joining in the summer.
The 22-year-old took only three minutes to open the scoring, firing in through a crowded box to continue his strong start to life on Merseyside. A Matty Cash own goal doubled the lead for Jurgen Klopp's side on 22 minutes, before Salah added the third early in the second half.

Strong start for Szoboszlai
With Liverpool having lost a number of midfielders this summer, Szoboszlai's start has certainly been encouraging, as was the performance of Alexis Mac Allister on Sunday.
Liverpool now sit on 10 Premier League points from their opening four games, and if they continue to resist offers from Salah, then a strong season could await.
