Eventually, Millwall ran out 3-0 winners against Peterborough on Saturday.

It might not have been so had it not been for the intervention of Millwall keeper Jordan Archer.

With the score at 0-0, defender Mark Beevers hit a back pass in the general direction of Archer's goal. To call it overhit would be would an understatement.

A back peddling Archer improvised and launched himself to meet the ball with a header which sent it over the bar to safety.

David Forde has played just ten times for Millwall this season as Archer has established himself at number one at The Den.

When he's producing moments like he did yesterday, along with saves like below from earlier in the season, it's easy to see why the Galway man has struggled to regain his first team spot.
