Mick McCarthy has named his Ireland team for this evening's game against Switzerland,

There has been three changes from the team that drew with Georgia, with Aaron Connolly, Enda Stevens, and Alan Browne coming in.

Matt Doherty, Conor Hourihane, and Callum Robinson have dropped out of the team.

A win this evening will see Ireland qualify for Euro 2020, but getting three points in Geneva will be no easy task. Switzerland have one of the best home records in European football and will be heavy favourites for this one.

If Ireland fail to win, a victory over Denmark in Dublin next month will still be enough to qualify.

This game very nearly didn't go ahead, with heavy rain in the Swiss city resulting in a questionable looking playing surface. However, an inspection took place at 6pm and the surface was deemed playable.
