"Pretty much everything," responded Mick McCarthy when asked what he likes about young Irish striker Aaron Drinan.
McCarthy expects his side to sign the 19-year-old from Waterford when the January transfer window opens. "He's been in and trained with his. He's here with us now. Very pleased with him. We expect to sign him in January."
Ipswich are reportedly set to pay £90,000 for the player. McCarthy, speaking to the East Anglian Daily Times, said that he is hopeful that Drinan can make an immediate jump to Championship football.
That's the magic question. I hope so, I always do. He's come and trained with us, he didn't look out of place; that's the reason we've took him in.
I'm looking forward to working with him. Get TC [Terry Conor] working with him in front of goal.
I think he will be, eventually, a first-team player. Whenever that is, I don't know.
Drinan, who is from Carrigaline in Cork, joined Waterford during the summer from Cork City after two years with the club.
