Michael Owen may be a lot of things - a superstar footballer at 18, a racehorse owner, a questionable pundit, a regular guest on Question of Sport - but he's definitely not a movie-buff.
The former English striker had previous revealed his disdain for films on Twitter back in 2014, to much bemusement.
Watched my eighth ever film on the flight home. Must have been bored. #HateFilms

Since the tweet it would seem that Owen has watched two more films.
The people at Shortlist magazine asked Owen to review films that he has seen and it is makes for an interesting, but bizarre read.
I haven’t watched many films. I’ve seen all the Rockys to be fair, so that’s five. There’s a sixth is there? Didn’t know that. Rocky IV’s my favourite film. Didn’t like Rocky I, it’s rubbish.
I watched Creed the other day. It was alright. My wife kept badgering me, so I watched it on a flight to Dubai. I’d have preferred a good documentary, to be honest. I like factual stuff. I don’t like being kidded by anything.
That’s my problem with films: I just can’t believe it. I sit there, thinking, ‘I wonder how many takes that took?’ and ‘is that a stuntman?’ The big action fights are so far-fetched I shake my head in disbelief: people shooting each other, rolling over with bullets just missing them, jumping off of trains. How can anyone believe that?
Escapism is definitely not Michael's cup of tea. And neither is diversity, seemingly. Of the ten movies claims to have seen, five of them were Rocky, and another a Rocky spin-off.
The other four films he's seen, in case you were interested, are:
- Heat - not a fan.
- Ghost - Preferred it to Heat; "I think it was quite emotional."
- Jurassic Park - Quite good, actually. Although he wasn't a fan of having to watch it twice in a few days, because he had gone for trials at both Arsenal and Manchester United, where their down time activities proved to be the same.
- Cool Runnings - Made to watch on a date with his future wife. "As soon as she pressed play, I was in hell."
We're not sure we can ever trust somebody who didn't like Cool Runnings.
He sounds like the craic.
