Damien Duff has done a remarkable job since taking over at Shelbourne.
Having inherited the job soon after their promotion from the League of Ireland First Division, he would help them consolidate their place in the top flight during his first campaign. Qualification for Europe would follow in 2023, with Shels looking capable of putting together a sustained title challenge this season.
Of course, the former Ireland star has also brought plenty of extra eyeballs to the league. Not only is he a massive name, but his antics on the sideline and post-match interviews are always box office.
Damien Duff's latest stunt involved bringing a supporter onto the pitch to speak to the players after the win over St Pat's on Friday, a move that has garnered some attention across the Atlantic.

We're not sure what is being said there, but they seem to be thoroughly enjoying the Damien Duff experience.
Speaking after that game, he explained why he made the move with the supporter.
Why did I do it? I heard during the week that there might have been a fans' protest or something tonight.
I just want them to know that we need them. Maybe next time there's going to be a fans' protest, just ring me or something. We'll try and sort this out.
We can't afford for them to have a night off. I can't afford for the players to have a night off, they've had a few recently. We can't afford it, we need them [the fans].
I believe there was one last year...the ground was like a morgue. I was angry coming off the pitch and I only found out after the game it was because of a protest.
We need the whole of Tolka Park bouncing. Maybe you let me know again if there's going to be threats again of this because bloody hell we need the Riverside, we need everyone.
To be fair, it is doubtful that Damien Duff has to worry about the backing of the fans over the coming months.
The Tolka Park regulars are very much behind him and this Shelbourne side. They might even have picked up a few new Mexican fans along the way.
