Mesut Ozil Held His Own Twitter Q & A And It Was Surprisingly Good Craic

Mesut Ozil is probably the best player in the Premier League right now, as the German World Cup winner is an absolute joy to watch pulling the strings in the Arsenal midfield.. Unless of course you're a Tottenham fan.

Having perhaps not living up to the standards that he was held to at Real Madrid in his first season with the London club, he has well and truly settled in this campaign and is shattering the league's assist records with his almost super-human vision and ability to pick a pass that many players wouldn't even try.

So it's understandable that he's in a good mood, basically, is what we're saying, and despite hosting a Twitter Q & A over on Arsenal's official account earlier in the day, he arrived home to hundreds of unanswered tweets to his personal account, which he rather soundly took time out of his day to get back to.

You could have forgiven him for breezing through the standard PR responses to most questions, but Ozil actually had a bit of fun, and clearly rates Mathieu Flamini as a player.

Of course, it can't hold a candle to John Arne Riise's impromptu Q & A, which we are calling the greatest footballer twitter Q & A of all time.

Understandably Ozil can't be as blunt as the Norwegian, but it was good of Ozil to give a shout out to Jamie Carragher in particular.
