This youtube video will put to rest once for all the idea that Leo Messi is some sort of beatified boy saint whose holiness keeps him above the real-world skulduggery practiced by the likes of Marcelo and Busquets. Look at him make hand puppet gestures in the direction of the Madrid bench the other night. Hand puppet gestures! So vile! You'd have to infer that people on the Real Madrid bench are shouting abuse at him. What on earth would they say? 'You're shite for Argentina'? 'You're really not very tall'? Either way, poor Marcelo - who was being racially-abused by the Barca fans all night - looks wide-eyed with distress in his one-second appearance in this clip.
