Robbie Keane is now one goal shy of 50 following Ireland's 1-0 win over Scotland in the Carling Nations Cup, but the real star for Ireland was Kilpedder man Leo Messi, who created Ireland's goal with a deft tackle, marauding run and deft flick to his captain. Were Keane a little less selfish, he might have flicked back to Messi who would have unleashed a piledriver into the top corner of the net. After the goal, Keane unleashed a Rooney-esque 'Crucified Christ' celebratory pose, while most of the Ireland team celebrated with Messi. Thankfully, the cup awarding celebrations were far more muted.
