With several rumours hinting at mutiny in the Argentina camp, a clip of Leo Messi conducting a half time team talk does nothing to quell the speculation that the relationship between Jorge Sampaoli and the players has disintegrated.
In the tunnel, just before La Albiceleste were to come out most of the team was gathered around Messi as the Barcelona man rallied his troops.

In the RTE studio Dunphy said the incident spells the end of Jorge Sampaoli's reign as Argentina boss regardless of what happens tonight. The pundit stated that 'the experienced leaders have taken it upon themselves and that's never a good sign'. We shall see.
