Despite going into the second leg of their World Cup qualifier trailing 6-1 on aggregate to Ghana, Egyptian fans turned out in their thousands to Tahrir Square in Cairo to watch the match. Egypt won 2-1 tonight but it obviously wasn't enough to send them to Brazil.

A quick hop west brings us to Algeria, where their fans and those of Burkina Faso have reportedly been in the stadium from around seven hours before kick-off – although some are saying it's only been full for around five hours. Either way, that's nuts!
