PSG Striker Kylian Mbappe has taken to Twitter to refute inaccurate quotes attributed to him about Barcelona attacker Leo Messi.
Mbappe was recently awarded the Kopa award at the Ballon D'or ceremony for the best U21 player of 2018. The Frenchmen enjoyed a sensational year with club and country, particularly at the 2018 Russia World Cup where he won Fifa Young Player Award.
The hype is real, but Mbappe took to Twitter to respond after false quotes were widely spread on social media.
I never said that.

Yesterday, Lionel Messi scored two direct free-kicks in one La Liga game as Barcelona moved three points clear at the top of the table.
As for Mbappe, he was at the centre of a recent L'Equipe article that claimed PSG would sell him or Neymar next summer. The club responded with an angry statement refuting that report.

"Beyond denying this misinformation, ridiculous and only aimed to create once again a tough relationship between our club and this media, PSG is wondering, once more, about the main goal of L'Equipe and its underlying thought about its editing work concerning PSG."
