Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League title challenge suffered a major setback today as they fell to a 2-1 loss against Burnley.
Goals from Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes ensured Harry Kane's second-half strike was not enough for the visitors. It left Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino furious at the final whistle.
Pochettino was visibly upset at the decision to award a corner before Burnley's first goal, arguing that the ball had in fact gone out off Jeff Hendrick.
However, Pochettino appeared to be irritated at a different matter after the game, taking issue with something referee Mike Dean said to him.

When asked "it looked like the referee said something to you, don't know what. You came back quite aggressively, what did you say, can you tell us what did he say?" by Sky Sports post-match, the Spurs boss responded by stressing "it is important to understand this was a game for us, I told you such an important game. I believed before the game it is going to be decisive."
When questioned whether he expects the FA to issue punishment, Pochettino said he hopes not but "I think I am going to accept anything that comes from the FA."
The result leaves Spurs in third, five points off Manchester City.
