When Manchester United agreed a fee with Torino for Italian international right-back Matteo Darmian, many Manchester United fans sought wisdom from those who watched Italian football, or simply made their own assumptions from what they had seen at the World Cup, and the next few seasons of their Football Manager/FIFA career.
The result was comparisons to Ireland legend Denis Irwin, which did not go down well at all with Irish fans, not to mention Kevin Kilbane:

But now Darmian is being compared to Gary Neville, by Gary Neville himself as he tweeted this image showing the similarity of the two:

Obviously the fans of Man United would be happy with the signing if he turned out to be half as reliable as Gary Neville was. Apart from that last half-season. Let's just forget about that.
