There are two weeks left in the English transfer window, as newly installed Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri looks to add to his squad before the deadline. There are reports that Chelsea are looking to London rivals Arsenal for reinforcement, with the Daily Mail writing that the Blues are interested in bringing Aaron Ramsey to Stamford Bridge.
Ramsey is entering the final year of his contract, and it is believed £30 million would be enough to prise the Welshman from the club.
In other Premier League news, Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis told the brilliantly named Radio Kiss Kiss that they have enquired about Manchester United right back Matteo Darmian: “We have asked for Darmian on a loan with a right to sign next summer.” Darmian himself has expressed his desire to leave the club after failing to nail down a starting berth under Jose Mourinho.
