More than 50 cows have invaded a pitch at Blanche Pierre Lane, St Martin, Guernsey, during a match between Centrals and Thrive Physiotheraphy (great name).

Reports say that despite valiant efforts the cows could not be mooved and that the animals were willing to risk the wrath of their farmer to milk their 5 minutes of fame.

It is not known at present whether the cows were Centrals supporters or Thrive Physiotherapy fans, so it is understood that any potential preliminary disciplinary hearings will be difficult to arrange. Police are blaming 'herd mentality' for the indiscretion.
