Celtic are reportedly close to signing Ukrainian winger Maryan Schved from Karpaty Lviv.
Ukrainian outlet Sport Arena reports that the 21-year-old is close to becoming a Celtic player.
Shved did not travel with Karpaty to their winter training camp in Turkey this week.
Club vice-president Oleg Smaliichuk said this was due to ongoing negotiations with another side regarding his transfer.
According to the Scottish Sun, Schved will cost Celtic around £1.75 million.
In 17 appearances for Karpaty Lviv in this season's Ukrainian Premier League, Schved has scored eight times and provided three assists.
Last November, he made his international debut for Ukraine, coming off the bench to play 13 minutes in a goalless friendly against Turkey.
Schved was previously on the books at Sevilla. He moved to La Liga from his current team in 2015. He then re-signed for Karpaty two years later.
Already in this January window, Celtic have signed Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah on loan and bought Ivorian strker Vakoun Issouf Bayo.
