Even the most ardent of Liverpool supporters may not remember the name Marvin Pourie. Among the many young, foreign talents Rafa Benitez brought to the Liverpool youth teams, Pourie is among the least distinguished. He was signed from the Dortmund academy, scored 12 goals for the Under-18s, and returned to Germany. On the scale of these Benitez signings, he is more Lauri Dalla Valle than Suso.
Pourie is now playing ball with Randers FC in the Danish Superliga at the age of 26. Yesterday, Randers let slip a 1-0 lead against Silkeborg, and after the game, Pourie unloaded with an almighty diatribe against his teammates.
When asked if he was 'frustrated' in the post-match interview, Pourie snapped:
Marvin Pourié var mildest talt ikke tilfreds med sit hold, da @KasperMarker fangede ham efter aftenens kamp! #onfire #eurosportdk #sldk pic.twitter.com/Y36zAdVHOd
