Ireland are preparing to take on Scotland in a crucial Euro 2016 qualifier at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin tomorrow, and Ireland manager Martin O'Neill has a number of selection headaches when it comes to picking his starting XI.
O'Neill is unsure of the availability of both Robbie Keane and Aiden McGeady, through a family tragedy and a niggling injury respectively, and he has declared that the players themselves will decide if they are able to take part in the match.
Another decision to be made by the Ireland boss is whether or not to go with Norwich City midfielder Wes Hoolahan, who Martin O'Neill gave a wee nickname to when asked about his potential involvement against Scotland:
Little Hoolahan is a very, very talented player and he’s been great for us. Here at home, when the onus has been on us to find an answer, not only has he not let us down, he has come to the fore.
Little Hoolahan?
Look at him there, Little Hoolahan, isn't he just a dote.
O'Neill did give him a glowing review, so there is a high chance that we will see him against the Scots, but we couldn't look past the fact that Marty would refer to Wes in such a way. It's adorable.
Lets hope Little Hoolahan pops up with a goal on Saturday.
