Ireland were distinctly unimpressive in patches against Moldova, but ultimately eked out the victory they so desperately needed.
Marin O'Neill's pre-game mood was oddly dark, and despite the victory, he was equally phlegmatic post-game.
His interview after the game was that of a stroppy teenager acting out against his father, as Tony O'Donoghue had the affront to ask a few questions. O'Neill's increasingly dark mood in interviews is becoming a quite interesting, if odd, trend.

Slightly odd, but to be fair, the 'dunderhead' description of Shane Duffy's error on the Moldovan goal was spot on.
Ultimately, it wasn't the greatest Irish performance, but it does leave us with a healthy seven points going into a stretch of massive qualifiers.
Here's how we rated the Irish performers.
