The Irish Sun reports that Martin O'Neill has an ulterior motive for attending West Ham's match against Crystal Palace tonight. While he'll be casting his eye over Joey O'Brien and Damien Delaney, the paper says he will also be looking at West Ham midfielder Mark Noble, who qualifies for Ireland under the granny rule.

Noble's grandparents were born in Cork and while he said he was committed to England back in 2008, he has since faded from the national team conversation across the water.

There's no guarantee he has changed his mind but even so, would you like him in the squad?
