The post-match interview between Martin O'Neill and Tony O'Donoghue was a little tetchy this evening as O'Neill made reference on more than one occasion to the supposed negative attitude of the RTÉ correspondent, before joking 'it's like you Tony to always pick a negative.'
Given O'Neill's dry wit, this seemed a half joke/half scolding that was trivial in comparison to O'Donoghue's run in with Noel King, but that didn't stop Eamon Dunphy taking umbrage.
