Prior to the game, on BT Sport, Rio Ferdinand - as many have done so far this season - spoke about the effect N'Golo Kante's absence is going to have on Leicester.
The Leicester midfield need to up their game said Ferdinand in order to provide the defence more protection.
This was where Martin O'Neill jumped in to offer a counterpoint to Ferdinand's analysis. The Ireland manager accused the former Man Utd player of letting centre-backs off lightly.
