Before he went on to manage such esteemed clubs as Leicester City, Aston Villa and Celtic Martin O'Neill cut his teeth at Wycombe Wanderers, and between 1990-1995 he became the club's most successful manager, following a series of promotions from the lower leagues.
It seems as if the club have not forgotten the Derry man anyway, or Jason Cousins for that matter, with the club's official Twitter account tweeting out an old video of O'Neill discussing a Cousins' tackle, which they described as the 'worst tackle in the history of the EFL'.
We'll led you be the judge of that, but the footage does not say a lot for Cousins' technique and O'Neill was damning in his account of the incident:
Jason Cousins got himself sent off again, the second week in succession, this time absolutely right. It was the most horrendous challenge I think I've seen. He doesn't like to be reminded of it, I'm sure he's going to be.
Honestly I didn't know where to put myself, never mind put him. I would've thrown him into jail if I could've done it. He upset everyone that particular day.
The worst tackle in the history of the @EFL is 25 years old today.
Thankfully Jason Cousins' lunge on @drfc_official's David Moss didn't hurt the player or the #Chairboys' chances of winning, with @timlangford11 clinching a 1-0 victory.#25YearsInTheEFL pic.twitter.com/iwKrV03zV8

Ouch.
There was a silver lining for O'Neill however, with the 10-man Wycombe battling to a 1-0 win against Doncaster.
