The red mist descended on James McClean during West Brom's loss to Bournemouth on Saturday.
After seeing a free not given for a tackle on him, McClean proceeded to put in what Tony Pulis called a 'reckless and stupid' tackle on Adam Smith. It resulted in him receiving a straight red card with just over ten minutes of the first half remaining.
On Sky Sports' Goals On Sunday, Martin O'Neill agreed with the West Brom manager's assessment.
He also reminisced about a rash tackle which McClean put in during Ireland's Euro 2016 qualifier win against Georgia.
Moments after coming on as a sub, McClean was yellow carded. It was something which Roy Keane (and we) saw coming and attempted to preempt, though to no avail.
Even Roy said to him 'Just be careful, don't do anything reckless'. 35 seconds later, he takes someone's leg off. I think they're still finding it on top of the Aviva stand.
