Messi, Ronaldo, Zidane and Coleman. Different players but if you put them together you could get the ultimate footballer. That's according to Man United battering ram Marouane Fellaini. The big Belgian was asked to select his ultimate footballer for goal.com and he obliged with some interesting picks.
The Belgian was given the chance to build his perfect footballer through the combination of various assets from fellow professionals. Felliani got the ball rolling, rather modestly, by selecting his own head as the best. Other footballers to make the grade were Messi and his left foot, Iniesta's vision and Cristiano Ronaldo for his physique. In a bit of a surprise, Seamus Coleman joined this elite company, but what part of Coleman's body did Felliani desire for his perfect footballer?
It turns out that it's Coleman's lungs that Felliani most admires. The Donegal man obviously impressed Fellaini with his stamina during their time together at Everton. Coleman does manage to get through a fierce amount of work on that right flank, getting up and down enough to have banged in a prolific 12 goals in the last two seasons.
Perhaps Felliani is just buttering up Coleman in a bid to get him to sign for the Red Devils.
