Marouane Fellaini has taken to Twitter to firmly deny claims that he spat at Sergio Aguero during Sunday's Manchester derby. The Man Utd midfielder was pictured leaning over the Argentine after a heavy tackle and saliva certainly appeared to leave his mouth.
However, Louis Van Gaal refuted suggestions that the Belgian purposefully spat at Aguero instead saying that it was more of a say it don't spray it kind of incident. Fellaini has now come out on the defensive against journalists who he believes started the allegations.
The press loves to invent the stories when there aren't any. Thanks the journalist. #ferity #tospit
